nothing for now

Dennise, 18, Dartmouth '17, INFJ, New Yorker, curious mind,
malcontent at heart. Here you will find things of the higher spirit, art, poetry, literature, writing, doodles, Mexican
culture, Sherlock, Doctor Who, and a good dosage of the perfect human beings whom I obsess over... Enjoy.

Thus as his body set him free more and more in his mind, he took to spending less and less time in the light, spitting at the breakers of the world; and less in the half light, where the choice of bliss introduced an element of effort; and more and more in the dark, in the will-lessness, a mote in its absolute freedom. It is not the brains that matter most, but that which guides them — the character, the heart, generous qualities, progressive ideas. Fyodor Dostoyevsky (via existentialistsadness)

the amount of people who don’t know who john hurt is

i just

wow

i almost cried because i was so excited then i logged onto tumblr to find everyone’s pissed off and…

i don’t get it what’s wrong with you people

Jesus Christ, MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY… I had never felt my heart race so fast in excitement and then be so disappinted in the fandom. Even more hilarious/disappointing, was when I saw that people actually thought that John Hurt was the name of the Doctor. Cue the perpetual facepalm….

I’ve had the incredible honor of speaking to and and very intimately watching Mr. Hurt deliver a one man theatre performance. This was a Samuel Beckett play, no less, which was very heavily saturated with existential angst and I was completely blown away by the emotional depth and wisdom that his very being just exudes. Make no mistake, this man is a very incarnation of brilliance, both acting-wise and otherwise.

If he’s the next incarnation of the doctor, then fantastic. If he’s some lost regeneration or the Valeyard who will only be making a short appearance, so be it. He will do an excellent job either way, and there is absolutely no one on the face of the earth whom I would rather see in the role.

I figured out the plot of the 50th Anniversary episode and how Rose and Ten end up in it

sarcasticblogger:

I think this is how Ten and Rose are going to be in the 50th anniversary, and I don’t think it’s because they just show up out of nowhere. Click the read more because spoilers since it deals with the season seven/series seven finale. Stay with me here, it’s a bit lengthy but I’m almost 100% sure I’m right.

This is a fantastic theory. EVERYONE READ IT

like… “SAY YOUR NAME TO OPEN YOUR TOMB!”

“Oh god, you totally got me… um, my REAL NAME is DENNIS!”

or whatever

like
